Here it goes......

To begin with, I had to assemble the whole
pan, before I sent it to the powder coater, to make sure that there
weren't additional tabs, flanges, etc. that needed to be welded to
it. I assembled the rear bearing assemblies in the IRS trailing
arms, and did a test fit of the whole disc brake assembly to see how
everything fit together. Here are a couple pictures of how it
looked after test fitting everything.
As you can see, I haven't installed the
torsion bar, and I hadn't got the right torsion covers for the spring
plate, so the arm is sagging much more than it will when all of the
right parts are installed. I did realize that I need to have the
rear disc brake caliper brackets powder coated, since they are a porous
cast aluminum, they'll get real nasty with brake dust, etc.
