Meyers Manx Re-Assembly
bluehr.jpg (635 bytes)
Here it goes......
bluehr.jpg (635 bytes)
To begin with, I had to assemble the whole pan, before I sent it to the powder coater, to make sure that there weren't additional tabs, flanges, etc. that needed to be welded to it.  I assembled the rear bearing assemblies in the IRS trailing arms, and did a test fit of the whole disc brake assembly to see how everything fit together.  Here are a couple pictures of how it looked after test fitting everything.

As you can see, I haven't installed the torsion bar, and I hadn't got the right torsion covers for the spring plate, so the arm is sagging much more than it will when all of the right parts are installed.  I did realize that I need to have the rear disc brake caliper brackets powder coated, since they are a porous cast aluminum, they'll get real nasty with brake dust, etc.
